Since the kick off of the first match of the 2010 World Cup, 11th June at 16:00, South Africa has brought a wondrous sound to ear drums all around the World.  That’s right my aurally blessed friends… the vuvuzela. The beautiful monotone hum of thousands of vuvus that fills each stadium at every match brings atmosphere and a patriotic spirit to the event.  Singing fans are fantastic, but singing fans accompanied by unified blasts from excited supporters on  1 metre long multi-coloured plastic horns is magical!

Apparently not all of you are of this opinion.. oh well, each to their own… but vuvuzelas are here to stay.  If you can’t get enough of the buzzing hum then it’s your lucky day…  add this URL before any website address and re-create the the South Africa World Cup atmosphere as you browse the web.  Why not enjoy the Gorilla blogs accompanied by the vuvuzela! – click here.  It’s just like being sat in Moses Mabhida Stadium… long live the vuvuzela!
